It\u2019s father\u2019s day today and I just wanted to give a shoutout to all of the dads out there who are working hard every day to provide a better life for their kids. I know for many of us it\u2019s our families that make up a huge part of our why.<\/p>\n<p>My own daughters are 11 and 13 and I love being in sales, because of what it allows me to do with my family. First is the flexibility. I really enjoy working from home. Not having to spend a ton of time in the car everyday means that most days I\u2019m able to enjoy both breakfast and dinner with them, be a part of many of their school and sporting events and those commission dollars help provide for a lot of great family experiences and travel adventures. In fact, speaking of great family experiences, I didn\u2019t realize it was Father\u2019s Day when I bought the tickets but we\u2019re all going to see Hamilton here in Austin later in the day.
