We\u2019re experiencing a time where there really aren\u2019t tips available based on previous experience. This is unknown territory in so many ways. You\u2019re probably going to have to figure some things out for yourself and make some decisions for yourself. I believe this idea generally, but especially now and that is that there\u2019s no such thing as too many conversations. Don\u2019t bury your head in the sand or ignore realities. Talk to your clients and future clients about that deal that you have in the works about how the current environment might affect outcomes and timelines. Talk to your leadership about their thoughts, expectations, and recommendations. Talk to your peers. Talk to your family. I\u2019ve been talking a lot with my family because we\u2019re planning on going on a short ski trip next week while my daughters are on spring break. As I record this we\u2019re still planning to go. Again, we\u2019ve had lots of conversations to make that determination. When in doubt, and there\u2019s plenty of doubt right now. Communicate more. Ask questions and make your own decisions based on your situation.
