Scott Ingram: You\u2019re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I\u2019m your host, Scott Ingram. Today\u2019s tip comes from Kendra Warlow. Kendra came from a non-sales background and has found a deep love in helping companies and employees through Paytient. She loves developing relationships, working on her Model A, SCUBA diving and helping her neighbors. Here she is:<\/p>\n

Kendra Warlow: It’s Sunday night. You’ve had a great weekend. The week coming up is busy. You know that already, but really you just want to binge-watch your favorite show for the last day of the weekend. Before you do that, take 15 to 20 minutes and go through your calendar and physically write out the meetings that you have upcoming on a sheet of paper. This is going to help you commit to memory what you have upcoming this week. So there are no surprise meetings where you get your calendar dang, 10 minutes before, and you’re like, “Oh crap. I totally forgot.” By writing these out. You will also be able to make notes on what you need to get prepared for that meeting. Any other information that needs to be gathered. And then you can reference that sheet throughout the week, right in front of you. Instead of having to go into your calendars and check out what’s happening. This also gives you time to write out your goals for the week. Prioritize what’s most important for you to get done and also write out your intentions. Why is these things important to do? Why are they top of list and top of mind to accomplish? Taking these 15 to 20 minutes on a Sunday night, best prepares you for the week. Set of reminder in your phone when it goes off, stop what you’re doing. Sit down and get yourself ahead of everybody else for the upcoming week.<\/p>\n
