Words like killing it, hunter, target. They all demonstrate a lack of connection or a misalignment between our intentions and thoughts, our words, behaviors, and actions. Can you imagine being hunted or having a target on your back? Would you want to be? Would you want to be referred to in this way? I would guess not.<\/p>\n<p>No wonder many see sales as a dishonorable career, an industry they would not want their children to aspire to have a career in. Gandhi said, &#8220;Watch your thoughts. They become your words. Watch your words. They become your actions. Watch your actions. They become your habits. Your habits become your values. Your values become your destiny.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Well, let&#8217;s think about the sales destiny. It&#8217;s time for us all in sales to use our words with care and to treat our customers and colleagues with the respect they deserve.
