Our goal with the Society is to align incentives and drive strong levels of participation and engagement. The more everyone contributes, the more valuable the society is for everyone.

Accordingly $199/mo is the most you'll pay if you don't engage at all.

The first $100 in monthly credits is easy. If you pop into the Slack channel 2-3 times a week and spend a total of probably 15 minutes (at a minimum), you'll likely earn a $100 credit to offset your monthly fee.

Realistically the monthly fee is really just $99 if you show up just a little bit.

Participation and contribution in the top 25% on a monthly basis will allow you to earn an additional $99 credit to offset the rest.

Just know that this is a competitive group and that won't always be easy.

A tool called HeyTaco is the easiest, most frictionless and fun way we've found to measure participation, engagement and contribution to drive our participation based pricing model. Each member gets 5 tacos per day that they can share with others and there three monthly leaderboards (givers, receivers and combined) we use to determine who has earned monthly participation credits to offset their membership fees (see "What is Participation Based Pricing" above for more)
