2027 · Dates and place to be decided
Iron sharpens iron. A guild for sales craftspeople.
The Sales Success Summit is an intimate, in-person event for career B2B sellers, hosted by Scott Ingram of the Sales Success Stories podcast. Every presenter is an active seller who’s #1 or top 1% at their company, and everyone in the seats takes the craft just as seriously.

A note from your host
Everything is on the table for 2027.
The Summit has traditionally been in Austin in October, on Columbus Day and the Tuesday after. In 2027 that would be October 11 and 12. That’s the starting point, not a promise. I’m looking at other places and dates, and maybe more than one Summit.
Here’s my problem. 94% of this year’s attendees said it was the best sales event they’ve ever attended, and 93% of them answered the survey. Now I have to figure out how to raise the bar again.
I’d rather build it with the people who’ll be in the room. Apply to attend and I’ll be in touch personally.

Built for the sellers who chose this.
Most sales events are built for leaders and vendors. This one is built for the minority of sellers who treat sales as a profession and are on a personal journey to get great at it.
We don’t hire speakers or keynotes. Everyone on stage is an active, quota-carrying individual contributor who is #1 or in the top 1% at their company, and every one has been a guest on the Sales Success Stories podcast. They’re still in the game, and they share what’s working now.
You don’t need to be #1 to attend. You just need to want it.
The hallway is half the event.
The magic is the people, so we build in room for them: a welcome reception, a 30-minute break every 90 minutes, dinners together and an after party. Seating is assigned on purpose, to put you next to your next mentor, partner or friend.

Questions
What is the Sales Success Summit?
An intimate annual event for career B2B individual contributors, hosted by Scott Ingram of the Sales Success Stories podcast. Every presenter is an active, quota-carrying seller who is #1 or in the top 1% at their company. It has traditionally been held in Austin, Texas, in October.
Who books your speakers and keynotes?
Nobody. We don’t hire outside speakers or keynotes. Every presenter has been a guest on the Sales Success Stories podcast, and to be a guest you have to be an active, quota-carrying individual contributor who is #1 or in the top 1% of a large sales organization. The podcast is the only way onto the stage.
Who should attend?
B2B individual contributors who treat sales as a profession and are working to get great at it. You don’t have to be #1 or top 1% to attend; only the presenters do. Sales leaders are welcome too.
When and where is the 2027 Summit?
Not set yet. The Summit has traditionally been held in Austin, Texas, on Columbus Day and the Tuesday after, which in 2027 would be October 11 and 12. We’re considering other locations and dates, and possibly more than one event. Apply to attend to hear first and to tell us what you want.
How is it different from other sales conferences?
It’s small, it’s built for individual contributors rather than leaders or vendors, and nobody on stage is a professional speaker. The schedule leaves room for people: a welcome reception, a 30-minute break every 90 minutes, dinners and an after party, plus assigned seating designed to put you next to the right people.
What did attendees think of the 2026 Summit?
94% of 2026 attendees said it was the best sales event they had ever attended, and 93% of attendees answered the survey.
Can my company sponsor the Summit?
Yes. 2026 sponsors were Backstory, Cinch I.T., Taylor Johnson and Untap Your Sales Potential. See top1.fm/sponsors to talk about 2027.
