Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today John Molyneux is another of my self introducing guests, so I’ll just let him take it away:
John Molyneux: Hey everyone. I’m John Molyneux, the sales samurai. I’ve had years of experience from cold calling, following up, prospects in door to door, on the telephones. You name it, I’ve done it, close in sales. So here’s my tip for today. You always need to remember to reset. That doesn’t matter what part of sales you’re in, whether you’re in an office, whether you’re on the speak two or three prospects a day, or whether you’re ringing, speaking to prospects hour after hour, minute after minute. It’s vitally important you treat every single individual as a new person and reset every single time you speak to somebody fresh. The reason I say that is because if you’ve just spot somebody that was really abrupt and a bit rude, you don’t want to drag down to the next person you speak to. So don’t let it affect you. Don’t let it drag you down to their level. What you need to do is reset. So that is my number one tip for the day. No matter what part of sales you’re in, no matter how many people you speak to on a daily basis, always remember in between, you need to reset. Even if it means taking five minutes, some deep breaths, just relaxing. Don’t jumps around to another call when you’re all fired up and still a little bit, agro from the call before. So I’m jumbling you if you’ve liked what I’ve suggested today, I will leave a link for my 6 Killer Samurai Closes PDF, gives you some tips on closing deals and I will also leave some other links for my Facebook group and also our podcast. Hope y’all have a nice day of sales guys. Cheers.
