So that I could take some time away with my family, our friends at Allego sent me a bunch of seller-specific EnableMinutes from their new show. This one comes from Yuchun Lee. Yuchun is a Co-Founder of Allego and has served as their CEO since its inception in 2013. Here he is:
Yuchun Lee: If you roll forward this assumption that pack hunting and collaborative selling is really the answer in the future, you’re going to have to ask yourself, who are the best sellers? What’s the definition of the best sellers? In that new world, the definition of best-sellers are not just those that hit their quota. That’s just the entrance to the game if you will. To win the game, to be the best-seller, the apex seller. You have to be someone that can contribute, coach, and bring the entire team up in this new world. What the definition of best seller is no longer enough to hit your quota. You got to be able to be somebody who can help, and coach, and mentor, and bring the best ideas to the entire organization. Those will be the one that will be successful in the future.
