Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today in celebration of International Women’s Day, I want to point you in the direction of all of the amazing women that I’ve been fortunate enough to feature here on the Daily Sales Tips podcast. If you’ll click over to DailySales.Tips/women you find a complete list of every sales tip that’s been shared by a woman in sales. There are currently 131 tips on that page, but the reality is that’s not enough. That’s less than 17% of all of the tips and I’m pretty sure we can do better. I used this opportunity to hold myself accountable to how many women we’re featuring on the podcast and year over year the percentage has improved to the point that we’re at just over 27% so far this year, but I still think we can do better.
So first I’d encourage you to dig into the list at DailySales.Tips/women and immerse yourself in some great tips from some amazing women. You’ll also find an all-female lineup on the show the rest of this week, but this isn’t about one day, one week, or one month. Being more inclusive and bringing more women into sales is good for all of us. It’s good for women, and it’s good for the industry. We all win.
So if you know of an amazing woman whose voice needs to be heard. Who has some amazing ideas. Please encourage them to contribute to the show. Everyone is welcome and the submission details are at DailySales.Tip/submit
Once you’ve done that. Be sure to come back tomorrow for another great sales tip. Thanks for listening!
