Leslie Venetz: One of my absolute favorite sales tips or calls to action that is applicable to everybody from that ground level SDR through to the sales leaders is to keep it painfully simple. Let me tell you what I mean by that. Whenever you are communicating with buyers, make it as easy as possible for them to get the point. So take that email subject line and trim it down to one or two words. Take that big long email. Trim it down to four or five sentences. You have bullet points in your email. Each of those bullet points needs to be its own unique thought and email in the cadence. Another great example is when you’re creating slide decks or when you’re creating presentations for your customers. Most of the slides can probably be removed and the ones you keep make sure that it is. Big font, it’s not crowded, it’s super simple and really clear. Folks should be able to forward your slide deck on to somebody that has no idea who you are, what your company does. They should be able to get the theme of it. So I challenge you to think of ways that you can keep things painfully simple. Make it as easy for your buyer as possible to digest the content that you are creating. Good luck.
