“If you become aware that one of your prospects or clients has a need for a product that you don’t sell, but one of your power partners does, you can make the introduction and send a warm lead their way.” – Hania Szymczak in today’s Tip 1659

Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today’s tip comes from Hania, who likes to remind us that her name rhymes with Lasagna. Here she is:
Hania Szymczak: This Daily Sales Tip is a short one. It’s dedicated to Kevin Pickett, who just trained me on his referral strategy that he’s used to get over 90 % of his leads over the past few years as he’s been a top performer at his company. At the core is this, find power partners. A power partner is someone whose company sells to your same ICP or whose ICP overlaps with yours, but whose product or service isn’t a competitor to the product or service that you sell. The idea behind being a power partner is being able to make introductions for each other, essentially bringing warm leads to each other. If you become aware that one of your prospects or clients has a need for a product that you don’t sell, but one of your power partners does, you can make the introduction and send a warm lead their way. Which by doing so, you’re also adding value to your client because you’re making it easier for them to solve a problem that they’re experiencing. So everybody wins.
