Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today’s tip is pretty personal. Even though one of my superpowers is productivity, sometimes there’s just too much to be done and there’s no way you’re going to be able to get to all of it.
In these times you have to be ruthless with your prioritization. You have to qualify your deals that much harder and figure out how to maximize your time by looking hard at probabilities of success, opportunity size, and the level of personal effort required. Hopefully, it’s temporary, but you might also have to put other parts of your life on hold.
In my case you may have noticed that things have gotten rather inconsistent with all things Sales Success Media with this podcast, the Sales Success Stories podcast, and the rest. The good news is some great things are happening behind the scenes and with any luck I’ll break through these couple of months of craziness with some incredible results that I’ll be able to share at least at a high level and then should be able to get back to a more consistent production schedule.
So bit of a personal update, but also some lessons that I’ve been learning the hard way that are hopefully helpful. To make sure you get those updates when I come out on the other side, make sure you’re subscribed to the email list by just dropping your name and email into the form at DailySales.Tips. Once you’ve done that, be sure to come back for another great sales tip. Thanks for listening!
