“There are so many things you potentially quote-unquote “should” be doing on any given day. The reality is you just can’t. Sometimes you have to pick your shots. Sometimes you have to make a conscious choice to really focus and execute well on one thing at the expense of other priorities.” – Scott Ingram in today’s Tip 1804

Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today I’m going to tell you why there aren’t going to be any more tips this week, but I’m going to try to do it in a way that you can get something out of it.
Here’s the thing. We can’t do everything. There are so many things you could be doing on any given day. Heck, there are so many things you potentially quote-unquote “should” be doing on any given day. The reality is you just can’t. Sometimes you have to pick your shots. Sometimes you have to make a conscious choice to really focus and execute well on one thing at the expense of other priorities.
The thing I’m choosing to put all of my energy into and execute well on is the Sales Success Summit that’s happening right now in Austin as we release this tip. While I absolutely appreciate you listening to this podcast and want to provide you a meaningful sales tip every day. I’m much more invested in the people who invested in themselves and bought a ticket to the Summit and more importantly have chosen to make the time to be in Austin for several days. They are the shot that I’m picking. They deserve 100% and more, and that’s what my team and I are going to give them.
Does this apply to you? Is there a particular client or a specific opportunity where it might be worth it to let some other things simmer for a few hours or days so you can give that one thing your complete and total attention?
In my experience, it usually pays off big. We’ll be back next week with some more great tips once I’ve also had a chance to recover a bit, but do me a favor. Join the mailing list so that I know you listen and also so I can share with you the absolute best offer on a ticket to next year’s Sales Success Summit so you can experience this degree of attention. Not just from me, but from a seriously amazing collection of human beings. Just click over to DailySales.Tips/1804. Thanks for listening!
