Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host Scott Ingram. Today we’ve got some travel tips from Casey Grandoff.
Casey Grandoff: Hi, this is Casey Grandoff from Commercial Acoustics and my sales tip of the day is about staying focused and productive while on the road. Since quality first impressions are imperative, I always prepare for the unexpected when I’m on the road. This means bringing a weekend bag of fresh clothes and toiletries with me, even if I’m only taking an extended trip, whether I use it or not, the option to refresh my wardrobe and not have to make really surprise pit stops has saved me in the past and truly is invaluable to lowering my stress level. Some of the tools that I use to stay productive; I really rely on voice memos and voice assistants such as Siri and Google voice. That way I have all of my notes and follow up ready for me to dive back into when I returned to the office.
I also stay safer on the road, since I’m not scrambling for a pen to jot notes down in traffic. I stay focused and keep myself sane by using relaxation and meditation apps to decompress. I’ve also made a clear intention for 2019 to stay in the moment and not let work worries sneak into my family time. By working hard and being productive during the day, when it’s time dimensionally clock out, I can do so and I wake up feeling refreshed.
