Mary Silver: Taking your client to the next level, the five-star experience. Nothing can set you up more for the future success with the client after you’ve closed the sale and their experience with you after that exchange after you close the sale, you want to wow them with your five-star experience.
Suggest what is the five-star experience. Whether you’re selling a product or a service. The five-star experience is when you provide more value to the client than what they’ve purchased. This can come in many forms. If they bought a product, they can get ad-on to that product that they didn’t know they were going to receive. If it’s a service, it might be something more along the lines of a personal touch or contact with you as the provider. It could also be an additional course or training on the subject that you’re helping them with. It’s something that’s in alignment with the service that they’ve purchased from you.
The five-star experience always occurs after the sale and after the sale, you want to go in and you really want to wow your client. You want to give them so much value that they feel like they got 10 times the amount in what they purchased. This is so crucial in the sales process because what it does is set them up for a surprise and delight factor. It shows them that you really care about giving them the very best service and this goes along the lines of your customer service and how you take care of your client. It’s an addition to what you’re selling and what you’re delivering to them. It’s a loving gesture for them. It feels like you’re going above and beyond an honor of them and in turn, helps your client feel very aligned to you and very pleased with your services.
We always want to go out of our way to help our clients understand that when they purchase with us, they’ve done the very best thing for their business. We can show them that they have done this by giving them a wonderful experience. So, for example, if you want to deliver a product and what you can do is you can give them an add on is something that helps that product to move faster or in more of a concise way or something that helps that product go to the next level. If it’s a service, you want to give them some deeper value or knowledge, it can be more access to you. It can be more mentoring from you, such as a class or training. But something that stands alone by itself and supports their learning from you.
It helps them move further along in the process. The add ons are always something that helps the problem that you’re solving go deeper. It helps give them more knowledge, more support, and it shows them that there’s actually more that you can offer them. It gives them the opportunity to use your product and service and see that in the future they’re probably going to need more from you. So when you ‘Wow’ your clients from the time of the sale and you give them that five-star experience, it really solidifies the fact that when they bought from you, they made the absolute right decision. And then in the future when they’re going to want to move forward, they know that’s with you because they know that you value them. They know that you give them 10 times the value of your product or service, and they trust you. And trust is what makes a client stay with you for life. And that is why the five-star experience is so valuable. Make sure you’re providing your customers with this experience so they keep coming back for more.
