Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today’s tip comes from Kendra Warlow. Kendra came from a non-sales background and has found a deep love in helping companies and employees through Paytient. She loves developing relationships, working on her Model A, SCUBA diving, and helping her neighbors. Here she is:
Kendra Warlow: Holding the solution to someone else’s problems is a privilege. You’re not just a salesperson, you’re a lighthouse beacon in your prospects ocean of problems. You hold the key to their stress relief. Reframing your mind what your job is, and then approach your prospects like you were helping a dear friend. Giving honest and sincere appreciation along the way. One of my favorite quotes from Dale Carnegie’s how to win friends and influence people is I shall pass this way, but once any good therefore that I can do or kindness that I can show any human being. Let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it for I shall not pass this way again. This week, take time for yourself and put yourself in your prospect’s shoes. Imagining the stress that they must feel then think and approach them like you would a dear friend to help solve a problem.

Once you’ve checked that out. Be sure to come back tomorrow for another great sales tip. Thanks for listening!
