Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today’s tip comes from Veronica McGibney. Veronica describes herself as a Fashionista turned SALESista. Shes an experienced SDR, BDR and manager and is driven by creativity and relationships and she takes pride in being authentic. Here she is:
Veronica McGibney: Hello. My sales tip is to always ask questions, never feel intimidated or embarrassed to ask a question. It can be scary to be that vulnerable, to show people potentially a weakness because we may not know something, but just recently as I was networking and building relationships on LinkedIn, a couple sales leaders were talking about different acronyms. And instead of liking it saying that I agree, I took a step and I said, “What does this mean?” And I was nervous because I didn’t want to seem stupid, but because I asked, I learned and now that’s something else I have in my arsenal of knowledge and information. So never be afraid to ask questions.
