Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today’s tip is a real short clip from this week’s Sales Tech Podcast with Anita Nielsen. Anita is the President of LDK Advisory Services and the author of Beat the Bots – How Your Humanity Can Future-Proof Your Sales Tech Career. Here’s one of the ideas she shared:
Anita Nielsen: The minute that you stop learning, start going tick-tock obsolete because there’s so many things that are changing, like you said every day between technology and ideas that are out there on how to help serve your customers better, if you are not on top of that and if you’re not trying to improve yourself. How you evolve. right? A little bit of the survival of the fittest thing to me as far as the way I look at it. The salespeople that are on their game and learning and moving forward and creating a personal brand and creating value in all these things. They’re still killing it. The ones that aren’t, they’re kind of falling by the wayside. And it’s quite sad to see. But you want to make sure that you are staying on top of what is important in your space, market sales so that you don’t become obsolete.
