Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today’s tip comes from Nick Cegelski. Nick is a quota-carrying sales professional and the host of the 30 Minutes to President’s Club podcast. Here he is:
Nick Cegelski: The best way to handle an objection that you get over email is to pick up the magic device I called “The phone” and call the customer. It’s so much easier to address an objection or concern or question in real-time than it is to go back and forth and back and forth over email. Or worse yet, send a 47 sentence email that reads like Moby Dick. I didn’t read that book in high school for a reason.

Once you’ve done that be sure to come back tomorrow for another great sales tip. Thanks for listening!
