Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. We’re experiencing a time where there really aren’t tips available based on previous experience. This is unknown territory in so many ways. You’re probably going to have to figure some things out for yourself and make some decisions for yourself. I believe this idea generally, but especially now and that is that there’s no such thing as too many conversations. Don’t bury your head in the sand or ignore realities. Talk to your clients and future clients about that deal that you have in the works about how the current environment might affect outcomes and timelines. Talk to your leadership about their thoughts, expectations, and recommendations. Talk to your peers. Talk to your family. I’ve been talking a lot with my family because we’re planning on going on a short ski trip next week while my daughters are on spring break. As I record this we’re still planning to go. Again, we’ve had lots of conversations to make that determination. When in doubt, and there’s plenty of doubt right now. Communicate more. Ask questions and make your own decisions based on your situation. Be safe and take care of yourself.
And as always, be sure to come back tomorrow for another great sales tip!
