Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Based on things that I’m hearing inside some of my large Fortune 500 accounts. I think we’re about to go into full-blown recession mode. In the coming weeks and months, we’re probably going to start hearing about some massive layoffs.
Here’s my tip for you right now, especially inside your active opportunities: Build as many connection points as you can inside these companies. If you’re in a deal or you have an active customer that you’re working with. Identify as many stakeholders as you can and get connected. The worst thing is to be single-threaded. If you’ve got one key contact that you’re working on a deal with and they get let go. You’re done.
So go wide. Socialize your deal. Build your brand a little bit, inside these companies, because it can literally save your deal. Hope that helps. Happy selling!
