Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. While I’m away we’re featuring EnableMinutes from Allego’s new show. Today’s comes from Larry Long Jr. Larry founded LLJR Enterprises to help people, teams, and organizations go from good to great. He regularly speaks to organizations of all sizes and has been coaching sales organizations for over 16 years. Here he is:
Larry Long Jr: We know it’s going to bounce back. We can’t control that. I’m a big believer that you control the controllables. So you look at what you can control. There’s an acronym called EAT, but I’m trying to slim down, so we’ll call it tea. I’m here in the South, we’ll call it sweet tea because you know what time it is. It’s Bo time. Some chicken, biscuits, and sweet tea. You can control how you treat other people. You can control your emotions and you can control your actions and your attitude. I’m going to throw in another A, just for good measure, accountability. Who’s your accountability partner? Who’s cheering you on along this journey, this adventure, this misadventure? We need to make sure that we have someone holding us accountable during these times because it can get lonely. You can feel like you’re on an island, but I think they say if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, let’s mount up as a team.
