Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today is Sunday, but I want to talk about Tuesday. Specifically, this coming TWOsday, when we’ll be experiencing what I guess is a twice-in-a-century event. It will be February 22nd, 2022. 2/22/22. Which is probably best celebrated a 2:22 either am or pm. I guess I wasn’t paying attention on January 11th, 2011, but the fact that this day of twos falls on a TWOsday is way more fun.
Now the reason I’m talking about this today, two days before the actual day, is because I want you to be able to do something with it. Get creative. I can’t give you all the answers here, but maybe you reach out to your top 2 prospects and your top 2 customers, two times on Tuesday. Andy Racic suggested two weeks ago that you reach out and ask for time at 2:22 pm.

Here are a couple of other ideas. You could offer something special, or maybe even two special somethings on Tuesday and indicate that they’re good for TWOday only. I’m actually going to stop now because I don’t want to suggest TOO many puns, but this is seriously a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get super creative. You don’t need marketing. There’s not enough time anyway. YOU are creative. YOU can have fun with this and insert some of your own sense of humor and style, and I totally want to see what you do, especially if it works.
