Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today I’m going to do something I’ve never done before and that’s talk about a particular product. This isn’t a sponsored or paid spot. Just something that’s been amazingly helpful for me, especially this week.
As you may know, I bought a new house a few months ago, well new to my family anyway, and we’ve been working through some renovations. This week we’re remodeling our master bathroom and my temporary office is just on the other side of the wall. Monday was the main demo day, and that was a little bit noisy, but Tuesday there was some prep happening for the drainage which involved jackhammering the slab.
So for a chunk of the day, I was working about 10 feet from a jackhammer with just a regular interior wall in between. Because of my temporarily noisier office environment in general I’ve been relying really heavily on a tool called Krisp.ai that does active noise cancelling.
Now I had originally planned to share a before and after recording of me talking with a jackhammer in the background so you could hear the difference. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get that to work, but there are some more realistic scenarios demonstrated on their website, and while I can’t share it with you. Those before and after jack hammer recordings were night and day. This thing really works!
Just thought I’d share that as it’s really hard to control the noise environment around you whether you’re at home and you’ve got kids, significant others, pets, landscapers, and whatever else making a bunch of noise in the background or maybe you’re in the office and are surrounded by loud talkers, Krisp is a pretty cool solution.
Not sure what the limit is on their free version, but even if you pay for it it’s only $5 a month. So check it out. Krisp.ai and I’ve got a link for you as always at DailySales.Tips/1253. Once you’ve checked that out, be sure to come back here for another great sales tip. Thanks for listening!
