Scott Ingram: You’re listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I’m your host, Scott Ingram. Today’s tip is about learning from what’s been working for you. Take a few minutes this week to go through all over your Closed Won deals. Determine the source of each one of the opportunities. Then go through a think through the specific deal dynamics. Why did you win? Were there commonalities in the challenges that your now clients were facing and trying to solve for? What competitors were in the deal? What did YOU do that made the difference and allowed you to win?
These should be super valuable data points you can leverage as you start to plan for next year. These things that you’ve proven have worked for you are probably the precise things you should be doubling down on next year. Think about how you can go deeper into these sources and these strengths in your deals to win more next year.
