Clip from Episode 36: Camille Clemons – Financial Services Sales Career Transitions:
When I was first approached about making a change my initial reaction was similar to the reaction I had in my what will be most recent conversion. And that was no I’m good. I’m I’m happy there’s nothing wrong with where I am. Why would I consider leaving this to come work for you? And once you change the dynamics and put that question on the people who were trying to hire you are you should be at. They should be asking you why. Why would we want to hire you. It gives you the opportunity to look at it from from the standpoint of can I really do something different here to benefit the greater good? Will I be proud of what I’m doing at the end of the year? And the answer is yes. The answer was yes when I made the first jump. I was very fortunate to land in a company that did so much to help me understand where my real potential was. And I’m fortunate to the leaders of these firms because they just gave me the chance to to kind of maximize my potential where I was at the time.
