Clip: Sales Recruiting Misconception

June 5, 2018 By Scott Ingram

Clip from Episode 44: Dan Drozewski – Top Sales Recruiter at Sales Recruiting Firm Treeline:

What are the most common misconceptions that the sellers have about the process of working with a recruiter. I think the biggest one is I think they feel like our job is to find them a job which would be inaccurate at the end of the day. My job is to find top tier talent for my clients. That is the number one goal. But at the end of the day you know my allegiance typically is going to fall with the candidate. They’ve only got one resume. And my client is going to fill that seat. Whether it’s you know through us or an internal internal means they’re going to fill that role. But again like I said the biggest thing is is my job is not to find candidates jobs. I can make recommendations to them. I can help them along the way with any advice they need but finding a job is it’s it’s more client based. We’re looking to find them top talent.
